Uncommon Agile Conrasu Sweep Twin
Source Ancestry Guide pg. 138 2.0
Price 4 gp; Damage 1d4 S; Bulk 1
Hands 1
Type Melee; Category Martial; Group Sword

A blade of conrasu design, a buugeng has a unique, curved shape that allows it to rotate smoothly in the hand of a trained warrior. This spinning motion makes it easier to attack multiple foes at once with the weapon.

Traits

Agile:

The multiple attack penalty you take with this weapon on the second attack on your turn is –4 instead of –5, and –8 instead of –10 on the third and subsequent attacks in the turn.

Conrasu:

A people that are made of cosmic force given consciousness and housed within unique exoskeletons. Conrasus craft and use these weapons.

Sweep:

This weapon makes wide sweeping or spinning attacks, making it easier to attack multiple enemies. When you attack with this weapon, you gain a +1 circumstance bonus to your attack roll if you already attempted to attack a different target this turn using this weapon.

Twin:

These weapons are used as a pair, complementing each other. When you attack with a twin weapon, you add a circumstance bonus to the damage roll equal to the weapon’s number of damage dice if you have previously attacked with a different weapon of the same type this turn. The weapons must be of the same type to benefit from this trait, but they don’t need to have the same runes.

Uncommon:

Something of uncommon rarity requires special training or comes from a particular culture or part of the world. Some character choices give access to uncommon options, and the GM can choose to allow access for anyone. Less is known about uncommon creatures than common creatures. They typically can't be summoned. The DC of Recall Knowledge checks related to these creature is increased by 2.

Critical Specialization Effects

Source Core Rulebook pg. 283 4.0
Certain feats, class features, weapon runes, and other effects can grant you additional benefits when you make a Strike with certain weapons and get a critical success. This is called a critical specialization effect. The exact effect depends on which weapon group your weapon belongs to, as listed below. You can always decide not to add the critical specialization effect of your weapon.

Sword: The target is made off-balance by your attack, becoming flat-footed until the start of your next turn.
