You ask that a divine being look upon you, calling their attention through offerings and supplication. While you ask for aid, you also appeal to divinity based on your goal (such as killing the wizard threatening your country or discovering the location of an artifact). You can beseech any deity or other being that grants spells for their aid.
Capturing the eye of the divine results in a transformation. The change reflects the experience, such as flaming hair for those that Sarenrae smiles upon or newly grown horns for Gozreh's favored. The GM decides on the appropriate change for the targets.
Critical Success Each target becomes sanctified until the goal is fulfilled, choosing a sanctification offered by the beseeched deity. Any spirit damage a target deals gains the holy or unholy trait as appropriate, not just spirit damage from actions and spells with the sanctified trait. During the ritual's duration, all targets are bound by the edicts and anathema of the beseeched deity. If a target was already sanctified by that deity or the beseeched deity offers no sanctification, a target gains the Domain Initiate feat for the ritual's duration, choosing a domain of the beseeched deity; this feat can't be used as a prerequisite.
Success As success, but the duration is 1 week.
Failure You fail to catch the glance of the divine, leaving your prayers unanswered.
Critical Failure Your request for help captures the interest of a different deity than the one that you intended, as decided by the GM.
