You bribe house spirits (or other helpful fey) to gather and decorate a room with ornaments appropriate to an occasion or holiday you declare when beginning the ritual. Over the course of 5 minutes, they rapidly place illusory decorations that are well crafted, placed in appropriate spots, and fit the location and occasion. The illusions don’t conceal or disguise any parts of the room (including hazards or dangers).
Any caster can Dismiss the ritual, and a decoration that’s removed by hand disappears. If you attempt to decorate an area you don’t own, the owner or steward of the location can disrupt festive finery if they succeed at a DC 18 Will save.
Critical SuccessThe fey decorate over 5 minutes.
SuccessThe fey decorate over 30 minutes.
FailureThe fey don’t respond.
Critical FailureThe fey decorate over 5 minutes, but for a wholly inappropriate holiday. You can’t Dismiss the ritual.
Heightened (3rd) The cost increases to 50 gp, the duration is unlimited, and the ritual targets any number of rooms in an area up to 500 feet in any dimension.
