Cast 1 day; Cost rare items and offerings worth a total of 2 × the spell rank × the target's level;; Secondary Casters 1
Primary Check Nature (expert); Secondary Checks Diplomacy or Performance
Duration see text
You petition a powerful fey lord to send one of their servants with a level no greater than double the ritual’s spell rank to your side to perform a task you set forth. Since the fey are as fickle as they’re powerful, the secondary caster can attempt either a Diplomacy check to explain the nature of the assistance you desire or a Performance check to entertain the fey. If the task is particularly tasteful, or the entertainment spectacular in the eyes of the contacted fey, the GM might grant a circumstance bonus to the secondary check or rule that it’s automatically a critical success. If the ritual is conducted without good reason, the result is an automatic critical failure. If the ritual succeeds, you must offer the servant payment based on a variety of factors determined by the GM, such as the risk involved with the task as well as its duration. Payment always costs at least as much as a consumable item of the creature’s level, though particularly dangerous tasks, such as fighting by your side, might cost as much as a permanent magic item of the creature’s level to persuade it. Your offerings should align with the personal tastes of the fey lord or Eldest.

You can alternatively name a being native to the First World who you know personally, with the same level restriction. Such a creature might ask for something they want personally or even require the binding promise of a future favor.
Critical SuccessThe fey lord sends a fey creature, and their payment costs only half as much as normal. If you’ve asked for a particular fey by name, the fey lord is likely to send them unless they’re busy with other matters.
SuccessThe fey lord sends a fey creature.
FailureThe fey lord doesn’t send a fey creature.
Critical FailureThe fey lord is offended and sends a sign of displeasure. This might take the form of a fey trickster to scold ritual participants, play pranks, or even go so far as to attack.
