Range 30 feet; Targets 1 creature
Defense see text; Duration sustained up to 3 rounds
You put on a showy performance, goading the target into responding with their own. This spell doesn’t have an immediate effect. Instead, the target can use the first action on its turn to Perform against your spell DC; the spell takes effect based on this check. If the target chooses not to Perform, it’s affected as though it failed as soon as it starts taking its first action. The first time you Sustain the spell on each of your subsequent turns, you can also choose an additional target.
Critical SuccessThe target is unaffected, and its skill puts a definitive end to the challenge, ending the spell.
SuccessThe target needs its full attention to respond and takes a –1 status penalty to attack rolls and skill checks.
FailureAs success, and the target takes 4d6 mental damage out of shame.
Critical FailureAs failure, but double damage.
Heightened (+1) The damage increases by 1d6.
