Theme Contest
This page is used to generate color themes for contests. You can find the details for the latest
contests posted on Reddit, Discord, Blue Sky, and Patreon. Contest guidelines are below; these
are subject to change between contests so please read them before submitting.
These are periodic contests to have users submit themes to AoN to be featured on the site under
Shelyn's Corner. There are two types of contests. Permanent contests will be on the site
permanently and will be inspired by hardcover books; these contests will try to be scheduled to
coincide with the release of new books. Rotational contests will be run more frequently and only
be on the site temporarily. These contests will be inspired by parts of Golarion: deities,
nations, organizations, monsters, and more. The winning themes from rotational contests will be
on the site for a few contest periods, though individual themes may return as a feature in the
future for a limited time.
Rules for submissions:

Submissions must be emailed to ContestSubmissions@archivesofnethys.com by the contest's end
date to be considered. Contest annoucements will include the inspiration and end date, as
well as an email subject line to be used to ensure your submission is grouped with the
correct contest.

One submission per person per contest. If you submit multiple entries, only the latest entry
will be considered.

Each submission must include a name for attribution. This can be your name, a username, or
the name of one of your characters. Names that are generally offensive are grounds to rule
your submission invalid.

The submitted theme must be in the proper format. Use the designer to compose and
preview your theme, then submit the share string. This will allow you to see how your theme
will look on the site, and the generated string will allow us to easily view each submission
and judge them in a expedient manner.

You do not need to include a title or description of the theme. If you would like, you can
include an explanation for why you chose certain colors for the benefit of the judges.

Please do not include any other style elements for your theme besides the colors. We will
not implement new fonts or graphics alongside the color themes.

If you are submitting to multiple contests, please submit each theme in a separate email. Do not submit multiple themes for multiple contests in the same email.
