Mitflits have long been good at taming insects of all sorts— beetles, centipedes, and so forth. You can ask questions of, receive answers from, and use the Diplomacy skill with arthropods (including insects, spiders, scorpions, crabs, and similar invertebrate animals). In most cases, wild arthropods will give you time to make your case.
You’ve also managed to bond closely with one bug in particular. You gain an insect as a familiar.
