Fey Patronage

Source Feybound pg. 20
Many powerful fey have the ability to grant boons to those who swear oaths to them, in much the same way that deities can manifest divine intercessions. Such oaths set new edicts and anathemas similar to those imposed by a deity, and the recipient must follow them if they wish to stay in their patron's good graces. The fey patron grants the listed boon; this usually takes a few days or weeks. If the recipient performs too many anathematic acts (or otherwise displeases the patron), however, the fey revokes the boon and places the listed curse on them.

This is a curse effect that can be counteracted with Break Curse, a cleanse affliction spell, or a similar effect. The oath usually has a spell rank of 5 and a DC of 28 for this purpose, though the GM might decide that the rank and DC are higher for boons granted by particularly powerful fey. The curse can also be removed through an agreement with the fey who granted the boon, typically by performing a specific atone ritual using Nature as the primary check and by spending at least a week of downtime serving the wronged fey.
