PFS StandardInfernal Pactbreaker

Source Cheliax, Infernal Inheritence pg. 126
In the wake of the Hellfire Crisis, libraries worth of infernal contracts were voided, cut off from the source of their power. These compacts are not merely agreements between contractor and signatory, however; the paper and ink themselves hold power, and many have discovered that even nullified contracts still hold wisps of hellish magic. Isgeri academics, studying the contracts found within Kingsthrone Cathedral in Elidir, believe that the words on an infernal contract function as magical runes, granting direct access to Hell's power so long as the stated agreements are upheld. Now that those agreements are void, careful study and tampering with contract's terms allows practitioners to harness aspects of their former power without the attendant restrictions.

Infernal pactbreakers are increasingly common throughout the Infernal Inheritance but are most often found within the walls of Elidir. There, legal academics pore over reams of infernal pacts to pinpoint loopholes against the devils. Elsewhere, infernal pactbreakers develop these techniques on their own, finding they can still draw on diabolic pacts they were once bound to even after their terms have concluded. Many pactbreakers make it a point of pride to alter the colors of the hellfire they conjure; rather than the deep reds of Hell, for example, Isgeri pactbreakers burn their foes in waves of bright green and blue flame.

Additional Feats

Source Player Core pg. 215
Some archetypes include a list of “Additional Feats” that appear in other sources. The list includes each feat’s level, which might be different than normal when gained from the archetype. You can take the feat as an archetype feat of that level, meaning it counts toward the number of feats required by the archetype’s dedication feat. When selected this way, a feat that normally has a class’s trait (such as the fighter trait) doesn’t have that class trait.

PFS StandardInfernal Pactbreaker Dedication Feat 2

Uncommon Archetype Dedication
Source Cheliax, Infernal Inheritence pg. 126
Archetype Infernal Pactbreaker
Prerequisites trained in Religion or Legal Lore
Access You’re from Isger.

Your studies allow you to wield the magic locked within infernal contracts without surrendering your soul. You gain a contract folio with four common divine cantrips of your choice, which functions as a spellbook; this folio may be a collection of contracts you have already studied or the charred remains of one you were once bound to. You gain the Cast a Spell activity. You can prepare two cantrips each day from your folio. You’re trained in the spell attack modifier and spell DC statistics. Your key spellcasting attribute for infernal pactbreaker spells is Intelligence, and they are divine infernal pactbreaker spells. You can always use Legal Lore or Religion to Decipher the Writing of a contract, and if you roll a critical failure on such a check, you get a failure instead.

PFS StandardBasic Pactbreaker Spellcasting Feat 4

Archetype
Source Cheliax, Infernal Inheritence pg. 126
Archetype Infernal Pactbreaker

You gain the basic spellcasting benefits. Each time you gain a spell slot of a new rank from the infernal pactbreaker archetype, add two common spells of that rank to your contract folio.

PFS StandardContract Blade Feat 4

Archetype
Source Cheliax, Infernal Inheritence pg. 126
Archetype Infernal Pactbreaker
Prerequisites Infernal Pactbreaker Dedication

Turning the diabolic powers of a contract inward, you cause the paper to fold and sharpen into a deadly blade. When you Interact to draw your contract folio, you can use a free action with the manipulate trait to transform it into a weapon. A contract blade deals 1d6 slashing damage, is a simple weapon in the sword group, and has the finesse, magical, and parry traits. If the blade leaves your hands, it returns to its original form. You can buy and inscribe fundamental weapon runes and weapon property runes into your folio in the same way you would for a regular weapon, and they apply to your contract blade. You can move runes to and from your folio to other weapons or runestones for the usual cost.

PFS StandardAnnul Compulsion [two-actions] Feat 6

Archetype Concentrate Manipulate
Source Cheliax, Infernal Inheritence pg. 126
Archetype Infernal Pactbreaker
Prerequisites Infernal Pactbreaker Dedication

Many of the traps in the terms of a diabolic contract rely on curses, charms, or enchantments that enforce the behavior of the signatory. You’ve learned to draft amendments which nullify such effects, allowing others to walk free. You attempt to counteract a curse, a spell that alters how someone behaves such as charm, or the confused, controlled or fascinated conditions. You use your choice of your Legal Lore or Religion modifier as your counteract modifier, and your counteract rank is equal to half your level rounded up. Regardless of the outcome, the target is then temporarily immune to your Annul Compulsion for 1 day.

Source Cheliax, Infernal Inheritence pg. 126
Archetype Infernal Pactbreaker

You impose the strict language of your folio on those around you. The triggering enemy takes 2d6 mental damage with a basic Will save against your class DC or spell DC, whichever is higher. This damage increases to 3d6 at 10th level, 4d6 at 13th level, 5d6 at 17th level, and 6d6 at 20th level.

Source Cheliax, Infernal Inheritence pg. 127

With a quick flourish, you draw together runes and legal bindings to condemn a creature’s soul and bring it to justice. Select a creature within 30 feet of you; that creature must attempt a Will save against your class DC or spell DC, whichever is higher. Regardless of the result, the target is then temporarily immune to your Condemn Soul for 1 day.
SuccessThe target is unaffected.
FailureYour condemnation frays the fabric of the target’s soul. The target gains weakness to fire and spirit damage equal to half your level for 1 minute. Only you can trigger this weakness.
Critical FailureAs failure, but any creature can trigger the creature’s weakness.
