PFS StandardMidnight Illusionist

Source Cheliax, Infernal Inheritence pg. 150
What began as a small cadre of Nidalese mercenaries on loan to House Thrune has grown into a professional force in its own right. Members of the Midnight Guard specialize in information extraction, counterintelligence, and magical support, and their magic focuses on illusions, shadows, and pain. While wizards are the most common among their number, other practitioners, especially clerics of Zon-Kuthon, are also represented in their ranks. Still holding to the tactics they employed in service of Cheliax, Midnight Guards operate in small squads: always at least two, so one might ensure the loyalty of the other, but rarely more than five to stay mobile and secretive. These teams are dispatched by direct order of the Black Triune on various missions or attached to a conventional military force.

At all times, the Midnight Guard tries to project an aura of stoic otherworldliness. They wear drab black robes with low hoods and take pains to hide any mortal weaknesses.

Archetype Midnight Illusionist
Access member of the Midnight Guard

In preparation for greater heights, you’ve learned to control your own shadow. You can manipulate the size, shape and movements of your shadow as you desire, though it can’t stretch beyond twice its normal size. In addition, you can use your shadow to increase your reach to 10 feet when delivering spells with a range of touch.

You also have access to the School of Shadow Veils. If you’re a prepared spellcaster, you can prepare spells from this school, and if you’re a spontaneous spellcaster, you can add them to your spell repertoire. These spells share the tradition, spell attack modifier, and spell DC of the spells you used to meet this archetype’s prerequisites, as do any focus spells granted by midnight illusionist feats.
