You can mix slow-burning fuels into your alchemical bombs that deal persistent damage, making their effects linger. When you Strike with the bomb, it deals no damage on a direct hit (though it still deals splash damage and applies other effects such as saving throws); you can also Strike an empty space with the bomb, automatically succeeding on your attack roll. On a failure, success, or critical success, the bomb’s contents spread in the target’s space, creating a lingering alchemical flame. The first time a creature enters the flame on its turn or starts its turn in the flame, it takes damage of the same amount and type as the bomb’s persistent damage. The flame lasts for 1 minute or until an adjacent creature uses an Interact action to smother it.
Traits
Uncommon:
Something of uncommon rarity requires special training or comes from a particular culture or part of the world. Some character choices give access to uncommon options, and the GM can choose to allow access for anyone. Less is known about uncommon creatures than common creatures. They typically can't be summoned. The DC of Recall Knowledge checks related to these creature is increased by 2.
Additive:
Feats with the additive trait allow you to add special substances to alchemical consumables you create when you use Quick Alchemy to create a consumable (you can't use additives with quick vials). You can add only one additive to a single alchemical item, you can add an additive only once per round, and most additive abilities specify a subset of alchemical consumables you can add them to.
