Overburn EmissaryBackground

Rare
Source Vaultlines Player's Guide pg. 9
You're a visitor from the Overburn: the fanciful name some residents of the Darklands use to describe the surface world. You might be an actual diplomat sent to treat with the people of the Darklands, or you could be an independent scholar on a quest to learn more about the cultures long rumored to live beneath Golarion's surface. Either way, a misstep on your part offended your subterranean hosts, compelling them to incarcerate you as punishment.

Choose two attribute boosts. One must be to Intelligence or Charisma, and one is a free attribute boost.

You're trained in the Society skill and a Lore skill related to a specific settlement in the Darklands, such as Lattiskar (a cosmopolitan Nar-Voth city ruled by ayindilar elves) or Sverenagati (the capital city of the serpentfolk on Sekamina). You gain the Multilingual skill feat but must select Sakvroth as one of the languages you learn. In addition, you treat the following rare languages as uncommon instead: Munavri, Orvian, Surki.
