Arudora MementoItem -1+

This Item may contain spoilers from the Bastion of Blasphemies Adventure Path

Rare Artifact Occult
Source Pathfinder #224: Bastion of Blasphemies pg. 235
Usage held in 1 hand; Bulk 1
Each Arudora memento is unique in appearance, but all seven are approximately the same size. Carried by each of the cursed family members, these mementos have within them the power to unlock entire portions of Bastardhall from the ghostly cursed state the castle traditionally exists in. Each of the seven mementos has the following activation, but the section of castle unlocked by each activation, as well as each memento’s specific benefit granted to the PCs, varies by type.

Activate—Return Memento [three-actions] (manipulate); Effect You place the memento into the appropriate statue’s clutches in the fountain located in area
B3 of Bastardhall. The statue briefly animates to claim the memento, which turns to stone and becomes thereafter a permanent part of the statue, effectively destroying the memento while granting a boon to the party that persists for the remainder of this Adventure Path. A section of Bastardhall solidifies from its ghostly form, unlocking its reaches for the PCs to explore.

Destruction An Arudora memento is destroyed when it’s activated with Return Memento, and the boon it grants upon this returning lasts until the very end of the Adventure Path.
