SoulheartItem 5+

This Item may contain spoilers from the Bastion of Blasphemies Adventure Path

Rare Artifact Occult
Source Pathfinder #224: Bastion of Blasphemies pg. 236
Usage held in 1 hand; Bulk L
A soulheart is a crystallized sphere of red ectoplasm about the size of a human eye. When held by a living creature, a faint red light shimmers within the crystal, pulsating in a synchronized beat with the creature’s heartbeat and providing illumination equivalent to that of a candle.

Activate—Bolster Life [two-actions] (concentrate, manipulate); Frequency once per day; Effect When held to the chest and focused upon, the soul energy within the soulheart floods outward and bolsters your life force, granting you temporary Hit Points. The number of temporary Hit Points granted depends on the type of the soulheart, but regardless of type, they last for 8 hours.

Activate—Bolster Maiserene Phantom [two-actions] (concentrate, manipulate); Effect When touched to a Maiserene phantom of the proper rank (depending on the type of soulheart), the soulheart flashes with bright red light and is destroyed. As it does so, it permanently increases the targeted phantom to rank 1, and increases each PC’s maximum Hit Points by 1 for as long as they remain within Bastardhall while the castle remains cursed. More powerful soulhearts can increase higher-rank phantoms and grant more Hit Points.

Destruction A soulheart is destroyed when it is activated to Bolster Maiserene Phantom, Restore Life, or Defy Charg.

Soulheart (Pure)Item 20

Source Pathfinder #224: Bastion of Blasphemies pg. 236
Bulk L
A pure soulheart doesn’t have a Bolster Life or Bolster Maiserene Phantom activation—instead, it has the following activation.

Activate—Restore Life 1 minute (concentrate, manipulate); Effect By holding a pure soulheart against the remains of a dead creature of 20th level or lower that has been dead for no more than a year and concentrating for one minute, the pure soulheart flashes with red light and is destroyed. The targeted dead creature is restored to life with 1 Hit Point, no spells prepared or spell slots available, no points in any pools or any other daily resources, and is still affected by any long-term debilitations of the old body.

Angelic SoulheartItem 21

Source Pathfinder #224: Bastion of Blasphemies pg. 236
Bulk L
An angelic soulheart doesn’t have a Bolster Life or Bolster Maiserene Phantom activation—instead, it has the following activation.
