Frequency once per 10 minutes
Trigger An enemy targets you with a spell attack or other magical attack against your AC.

You attempt to deconstruct an incoming spell into its individual magical components, storing them temporarily as a rune. You gain a +4 circumstance bonus to AC against the triggering attack. If the attack misses, the spell becomes sealed in a rune, which floats around you. Until the end of your next turn, you can Trace this Rune onto a creature as normal. This rune doesn’t have an effect until it’s invoked.

When the rune is invoked, the rune-bearer is affected by the spell or magical attack captured in the rune. Make a check, using your class DC – 10 as the modifier against the rune‑bearer’s AC to determine the effects.

Traits

Magical:

Something with the magical trait is imbued with magical energies not tied to a specific tradition of magic. Some items or effects are closely tied to a particular tradition of magic. In these cases, the item has the arcane, divine, occult, or primal trait instead of the magical trait. Any of these traits indicate that the item is magical.
