Description Hidden nozzles in the ceiling spray acid pumped in from a nearby reservoir to destroy the desk and all its documents, as well as anyone trying to retrieve those documents.
Disable DC 20 Thievery (trained) to disable one of the two acid-spewing nozzles or DC 21 Crafting (trained) to rig a makeshift plug for one of the two nozzles

Nozzle Hardness 10, HP 22 per nozzle (BT 11); Immunities critical hits, object immunities, precision damage
Ooze Surprise [reaction] (acid) Trigger A creature flips the switches on the underside of the desk in the wrong order or a creature attempts to open one of the desk drawers without first disabling the trap; Effect A hatch opens in the ceiling, releasing a string slime onto the desk. The string slime makes a pseudopod Strike against one creature within reach before rolling initiative. The trap then rolls initiative.
Routine (1 action) The nozzles spray acid from the ceiling onto every creature adjacent to the desk. Each affected creature takes 4d6 acid damage (DC 20 basic Reflex save). For each broken nozzle, this damage is reduced by 2d6.
Reset The trap deactivates after 1 minute. To be reset, the trap’s reserve tanks must be refilled with acid.
