Description The elemental-infused fountain spouts boiling water in a singular direction, carrying all non-aquatic creatures caught in it across the hallway and toward the perilous drop-off in the opposite tower!
Disable DC 25 Arcana (trained), Nature (trained), or Survival (trained) to divert the flow into weaker streams, or DC 27 Athletics, Crafting (trained), or Thievery (trained) to break up the ground to weaken the flow; two successes (or one critical success) are needed to disable the hazard.
Babbling Brook [reaction] Trigger The boiling spring rolls initiative; Effect The steaming flow rolls initiative.
Routine (1 action) The hazard attempts an Athletics check with a +28 modifier to Shove all creatures in the water-filled areas in areas E5 and E6 toward the drop-off in area E7; the boiling spring gains a +4 circumstance bonus to its Fortitude DC against this effect. Any creature ending its turn in the flow also takes 2d12+12 fire damage with a DC 29 basic Fortitude save.
