Description The fetid material in this pit sloshes around in a disgusting feedback loop, filled with large pieces of solid trash that risk bludgeoning creatures inside it to death!
Disable DC 27 Acrobatics or Thievery (trained) to move without causing a wave of filth, or DC 30 Athletics or Crafting (trained) to stabilize the trash heap and prevent it from flowing; three successes are required to fully stabilize and disable the hazard.
Wobbling Waves [reaction] Trigger Any Medium or larger non-ofalth creature takes a move action inside area E7; Effect The feedback flow makes a flowing trash Strike against the triggering creature and then rolls initiative.
Routine (1 to 3 actions) The feedback flow hazard uses up to 3 actions to make flowing trash Strikes against living creatures that take move actions inside the refuse pit (area E7) but can only target an individual creature once per round. The ofalths, used to living in this pit, don’t trigger these attacks. Additionally, any non-ofalth creature that ends its turn inside the refuse pit must attempt a DC 36 Fortitude save.
Critical Success The creature is unaffected.
Success The creature is sickened 1 until the end of its next turn, then is immune to this effect for 1 minute.
Failure The creature is sickened 1.
Critical Failure The creature is sickened 2.
