Stealth +35 (master) to find the face-projecting rune
Description A looming illusory image of the face of Asmodeus appears within the room, eyes glinting with malice at any who refuse to worship him.
Disable DC 50 Thievery (master) to disrupt the rune projecting Asmodeus’s face or DC 48 Religion (master) to refute the Asmodean faith; four total successes are required to disable the hazard
Menacing Laughter [reaction] (auditory, emotion, fear, mental) Trigger A creature who doesn’t worship Asmodeus enters the room; Effect The booming voice of Asmodeus laughs cruelly at nonbelievers who would dare enter his highest temple on Golarion. Each creature who doesn’t worship Asmodeus within 100 feet must attempt a DC 48 Will save. The hazard then rolls initiative as Asmodeus’ face appears in the middle of the vestry.

Critical Success The creature is unaffected.
Success The creature is frightened 2.
Failure The creature is frightened 3 and slowed 1 for as long as they’re frightened.
Critical Failure As failure, but frightened 4.
Routine (1 action; mental, visual) The illusory face of Asmodeus gazes at one creature in the area who doesn’t worship Asmodeus. His eyes glint with diabolic power as that creature is overwhelmed by visions of the enormity of Hell. That creature must attempt a DC 44 Will saving throw. The hazard tends to target creatures who are attempting to disable the hazard. Taking damage from this hazard doesn’t grant a flat check to end the confused condition.
Critical Success The creature is unaffected.
Success The creature takes 5d8 mental damage.
Failure The creature takes 10d8 mental damage and is confused for 1 round.
Critical Failure The creature takes 20d8 mental damage and is confused for 1 minute.
Reset The trap deactivates 1 round after all creatures who don’t worship Asmodeus either leave the room or are dead. It resets 1 round after that.
