Alzira Mustanir

Alzira Mustanir was the original founder of the cult of Camazotz. As a gift for her faith, Camazotz granted Alzira the power to perform a unique ritual that allowed her to compel others to join the cult (or become the next sacrifice to Camazotz). This ritual gave her the mechanism to grow the cult over the years and is the reason Romi kept Alzira alive when he took over. Alzira kept all knowledge on how to perform this ritual to herself, and Romi didn't want to risk losing the ritual by killing Alzira
