Sprilbrahn

Sprilbrahns serve as the guardians of the First World, facing anyone that seeks to corrupt the plane and sometimes serving as commanders against such foes for the armies of the Eldest. Occasionally, they also travel into the mortal Universe to fight against magical and mundane corruptions that threaten natural areas and could potentially seep into the First World. A sprilbrahn is an awesome sight in combat: a stoic and determined humanoid warrior clad in armor made from hardened flower petals, bearing a mighty scythe and borne aloft in turn by wings made of flower petals.

Sidebar - Additional Lore The Vorpal Oath

During the earliest days of the First World, the Eldest created the living weapons of war known as the Tane. Unfortunately for the Eldest, some of these original Tane proved too powerful to control. According to some stories, those Eldest who survived these early wars joined forces and swore the Vorpal Oath, creating the first vorpal weapon to slay the first jabberwock. The oath also led to the creation of the first sprilbrahns, who serve as impartial warriors that work on behalf of the First World above all else. The power of the Eldests' oath also grants every sprilbrahn a vorpal weapon, in case the threat of the Tane ever rears its head again.
