Kaztili

Though always dressed like they're attending the finest court functions, a kaztili behaves more like the patron of an ale hall. Consummate comedians and witty debaters, these liminal sprites love ambages and flyting. Though to outsiders, their interests might seem align with those of murxies, most kaztilis look down on such fellows, considering them low-brow hacks, though others cultivate eager followings of the weaker fey. Kaztilis appear as miniature elves, but with angular, gossamer wings sprouting from their backs.

Sidebar - Locations Sleeping Outside

Whether due to their nature as liminal creatures or due to an ancestral curse, kaztili can neither sleep inside of a building nor outside in the open. The clever fey found a loophole by necessity, and now rest in the external features of buildings, finding shelter under eaves, porches, and staircases. As a result of this restriction, kaztili are some of the most commonly encountered sprites by other ancestries, though not always under the best of circumstances: mortals rarely like finding a tiny fairy raiding their sugar bowl or squirming in the mouth of their house cat. Wingless kaztili appear to be exempt from this curse, as part of the trade of their innate fey nature in exchange for increased potential and flexibility.

Sprite

Source Monster Core pg. 322
Elusive, flighty, and ebullient, sprites are what many villagers first imagine when they hear the terms “fey” or “fairy.” While their dispositions vary, all sprites share a connection to magic and a diminutive size. This family of fey shares its name with its slightest and most populous member, the common sprite.

Sidebar - Additional Lore Sprite Pranks

Sprite pranks tend to be kind-hearted in nature; they might use their abilities to embarrass a braggart or to trick them into a convoluted scheme to help someone notice an admirer who has been there for them all along. Their plans are often half-baked; sprites' mercurial nature means they can easily become distracted by something new before following through on a previous plan.
