PFS StandardSpellshifter Dedication Feat 2

Uncommon Archetype Dedication
Source Impossible Magic pg. 102
Archetype Spellshifter
Prerequisites trained in Arcana

You can exert your will over magical spells cast in your vicinity, potentially altering or controlling their effects. You accomplish this through the use of a spellshifting conduit, a magical object of your choice that has light Bulk and can be held in one hand. If your conduit is lost or destroyed, you can train yourself to use a new one by spending 10 minutes attuning yourself to it. You gain the Shift Spell action and the Share the Burden spellshift.

Shift Spell [one-action] (concentrate, manipulate) Requirements You are within the affected area of an ongoing spell, or you can physically touch an object or creature under the effects of a spell, and you are holding your conduit; Effect Choose a spellshift and attempt an Arcana check against the DC of the spell (or the spell DC of the spellcaster if the spell does not normally have a DC). The caster immediately becomes aware that you’re trying to shift their spell and intuitively knows the potential effects of the shift, but not the result of your skill check. A willing caster can allow you to achieve one degree of success higher than the result of your check. The effects of the check are dependent on the chosen spellshift. Regardless of the result, the spell becomes immune to Shift Spell for 24 hours.

Spellshift—Shift Burden You share the burden of a spell, allowing you to share control with the caster. If Sustaining a spell with this spellshift causes a creature to attempt a saving throw, it is attempted against your Arcana DC instead of the spell’s normal DC. If the spell requires a spell attack roll, make the attack using your Arcana modifier instead of the spell’s normal spell attack modifier.

Critical Success If the spell is sustainable, you can Sustain the spell as a free action as though you had cast the spell. For the remainder of the spell’s duration, you can Sustain the spell as though you were the caster.
Success If the spell is sustainable, you can Sustain the spell as a free action as though you had cast the spell.

Traits

Uncommon:

Something of uncommon rarity requires special training or comes from a particular culture or part of the world. Some character choices give access to uncommon options, and the GM can choose to allow access for anyone. Less is known about uncommon creatures than common creatures. They typically can't be summoned. The DC of Recall Knowledge checks related to these creature is increased by 2.

Archetype:

This feat belongs to an archetype.

Dedication:

Each archetype’s dedication feat represents your character’s dedicated effort learning a new set of abilities, making it impossible to split your focus and pursue another archetype at the same time. Once you take a dedication feat, you can’t select a different dedication feat until you complete your dedication by taking two other feats from your current archetype. You can’t retrain a dedication feat as long as you have any other feats from that archetype.
