This perfectly ripe and delectable pomegranate is ready to be enjoyed by those with distinguished tastes and a trained eye for fine fruits. Once broken up, the pomegranate’s arils glisten in the light, their flesh plump and scarlet. As you eat the pomegranate, which is delicious but offers no other benefits when consumed, you can save one seed to put into the mouth of a single adjacent corpse, granting it a semblance of life. This has the limitations and effects of talking corpse, and the associated Will save has a DC of 24. Only you can hear the answers the corpse gives.
In addition, when you eat the pomegranate, you must immediately attempt a DC 24 Will save. On a failure, you take a –1 item penalty to saves against spells and effects from fey creatures for 24 hours.
