Alglenweis (Princess of the Rime)Source Divine Mysteries pg. 322Called the Princess of the Rime by some, Alglenweis is the most popular Sarkorian deity in the Realm of the Mammoth Lords; though, since the opening of the Worldwound, her worship in Sarkoris has dwindled. Her ties to
demonic entities like her father have placed her in a position of mistrust among Sarkorians who fear the return of a malevolent entity like Deskari.
Originally a localized deity popularized by the witches of the Stagheart clan, Alglenweis encourages her devotees to create and protect works of art, especially those with cultural significance. Her followers cherish winter as a time to work on projects and spend hours with friends and relatives out of the cold.
Today, Sarkorians who still follow the Princess of Rime celebrate their return to their homelands by reclaiming the crafting traditions of their people. They also encourage incursions into portions of the Sarkoris Scar still infested with demonic forces and outfit expeditions to ruins of old settlements in hopes of recovering artistic treasures, even after many years under demonic occupation. Those who venerate Alglenweis hope that, by serving as an active force in the ongoing reclamation efforts, they can also help return Alglenweis to the prominence she once enjoyed. The most common depictions of the goddess feature her as a gigantic snowy owl whose claws clutch a skein of yarn and whose feathers are made of ice.
