Ever since the harpy Ekriathe led a ragtag army of beasts in the city-state's defense millennia ago, Pol-Dhuraxilis has welcomed monstrous citizens of all kinds. Ekriathe has periodically been reborn in Pol-Dhuraxilis, each time in a different body infused with the same, overwhelming mythic power. Iapholi is the latest incarnation, a nephilim who champions monstrous strength and acceptance. However, she lacks the same warmongering zeal as past incarnations, disappointing many monsters who had hoped a reborn Ekriathe might lead raids across Iblydos and beyond.
