PFS StandardZursvaater (Prince of Steel)

Source Divine Mysteries pg. 312
Zursvaater is considered the patron deity of fire giants. According to legend, well over ten millennia ago, a stone giant clan was scaling the rocky face of the mightiest volcano on Golarion, once known as the Molten Summit. He took on a new form to better communicate with them, molding the mountain range that was his body into a colossal humanoid figure of volcanic rock and ash. In this form, he called himself Zursvaater and offered the clan the secrets of fire and metal in exchange for their complete devotion and their very souls. Upon accepting, they were subsumed by the god before being expelled as beings of molten rock and flame—the first fire giants.

Zursvaater prefers to involve himself in the events of the mortal world rather than interact with other deities and divine beings. Worshipped by fire giants as the Prince of Steel, he is portrayed as a fearsome fire giant in armor and a closed-faced helm, with a heavy chain in one hand and, in the other, a red-hot adamantine greatsword named Blood of the Mountains.

Zursvaater’s religious symbol can often be found as tattoos of gold or copper on the body of his clerics. The Prince of Steel strongly discourages inter-clan fighting among his fire giants, instead urging his followers to war with other peoples and pillage resources that would improve further war efforts. He abhors Thremyr for his tactless style of warfare, believes Minderhal pales in comparison to him, and begrudgingly acknowledges Torag as a skilled smith but nothing more.
