A god of conspiracy, isolation, and manipulation, Ulon believed that uncovering truths and sowing mistrust and questions that distracted society from the on-going underground machinations of the Web. Knowing that truth and lies are often found in the same vein, Ulon encouraged picking apart lies to reveal the truth beneath them, pushing followers toward a greater concept known as the All-Truth.
Ulon encourages followers to never blindly accept anything as truth. Instead, the Web supports questioning everything. Ulon was and is still largely considered an urban myth by most beyond the few cells who venerate the Web. Few have ever heard the name, and those who have dismiss talk of Ulon as fantastic tales or conspiratorial rumors. Ulon teaches that all things are connected and that by pulling the right strings, one can manipulate the strings of power and make authority one’s puppet.
While Ulon’s following declined significantly after Earthfall, the few faithful who survived struggled to carry and pass along Ulon’s teachings. These followers continued to live in the shadows of society, undermining authority and bringing new cells into The Web’s network. Followers have been surfacing more publicly in recent years, spreading whispers of something on the horizon. Whether this is a sign of Ulon’s machinations working behind the scenes or a predicted event finally coming to fruition is yet to be seen, but Ulon’s name coming up in regular conversation is not a thing to be taken lightly.
