Aonaurious (The Enigma Clot)Source Divine Mysteries pg. 320Aonaurious appears as a sleek insectile creature with an obsidian carapace and razor-sharp claws that drip with blood. A quartet of unblinking eyes are spaced evenly around his head so that he can see in all directions and dozens of legs provide him the speed to pursue any prey. Called the Enigma Clot, he is the most violently aggressive qlippoth lord, always ready to wade into battles against demons and mortals alike. He grants no quarter, expects none in return and will mercilessly chase any who flee from a fight until he can tear them to pieces.
For reasons only understood by him, Aonaurious has spent the past few centuries venting his wrath on worlds in distant star systems, only recently returning to Golarion when he learned of the Whispering Tyrant’s escape. He believes any resulting bloodshed will fuel his powers and perhaps even grant him new followers. In either case, it foreshadows the death of many mortals—a prospect in which the Enigma Clot delights.
Worshippers of this qlippoth lord are usually heartless mercenaries, gladiators, and hunters looking to increase their martial prowess by any means necessary. The truly devoted can continue to fight past when grievous wounds should lay them low and track prey for days on end without rest. Their fanaticism usually means they live short lives, either dying in battle or collapsing from overexertion. As such, membership in cults of Aonaurious often dwindles quite quickly before disappearing.
