An island can be born from nothing, rising up from boiling waters. Over time, the hardened volcanic rock transforms into an island full of life. A powerful storm or more volcanic activity can wipe away all this life, leaving the island again bare for new change and transformation. Valani teaches embracing these changes and taking them in stride. The only way to find joy is to take each moment for what it is, and embrace all the changes that come. Valani holds great power over natural forces like storms and especially volcanoes. As such, he sees worship from
druids, elementalists, and people living on islands vulnerable to major changes from such primal forces.
Valani himself is a massive
boar-headed figure who wears a crown of spiked grass and purple flowers. His muscular body is encased in armor made from natural fibers that’s as tough as star-forged adamantine. Fireshaker is a creature of great emotional range. It is said that his laughter is strong enough to make tropical trees dance and give up their fruits to those in need, but his quickly found rage is so full of wrath that it can cleave peninsulas from their shores and cause island volcanoes to erupt for months on end. When pleased, his natural forces avoid destroying settlements or majorly disrupting lives. When upset, his storms topple homes and volcanic eruptions destroy hunting grounds, but never to such a degree that mortals can’t adapt to a new life, growing and thriving afterward.
