Skode, he is forever separated from her except for during the brief changing of seasons when his coral-covered ship touches upon the shore. For the rest of the year, he is leading nine daughters (the gentle yet free east, south, and west winds) he bore with his wife on an endless journey across and below the seas, bringing rain and sunshine to the seaboard and inland fields. A hopeless romantic, he watches over the oceans. Most giant art depicts Aegirran as a tide giant, a giant with pale-blue skin and several markings reminiscent of waves. He is clad in a simple, asymmetrical cloak and sailing attire.
While some worshippers of the Sea Dreamer might never cross a body of water in their lifetime, most of his followers are seafarers and the families that they leave behind. Before particularly long voyages, his followers often break off a small, insignificant piece of the vessel they intend to sail on, carve his religious symbol into it, and cast it into the sea. This is to let Aegirran know about their upcoming venture and to ask for his guidance and protection. In return, he can grant them this as well as dreams of their loved ones so that they do not have to suffer the heartache of being away from them.
