Ssila’meshnik (The Colorless Lord)Source Divine Mysteries pg. 316Ssila’meshnik holds answers and freedom for all who call on them. They are the
protean lord of fate, freedom, and paradox, and though they see the paths of all possible futures, the present is often out of reach. They exist as a flurry of shadowed afterimages, cast out across the infinite branches of time and choice. Though the Colorless Lord knows the twists and turns all lives take, those who call on them inevitably turn away from the answers the lord provides. Those who call on Ssila’meshnik always abandon their path.
They are a frequent though uninvited guest of
Pharasma’s court, where they appear to argue the fate of whichever soul is up for judgment at that moment. Ssila’meshnik has no realm in the
Maelstrom, though several of their temples are scattered across the plane. The largest of their temples is in the center of Galisemni: an iridescent crystalline tower where bubbles of wild magic and ripples in time fester like extraplanar rot. The Lord of Paradox is worshipped by
ganzi nephilim, proteans without a chorus, and mortals better defined by their desperation than the object of their desperate yearning, and these followers honor them by living lives of constant contradiction and self-sabotage.
