When she wraps her smoky black wings around her slight frame, she is almost impossible to see except in the brightest of sunlight. Even then, she resembles only the vaguest shape of a winged
dwarven woman made entirely of shadow and difficult to discern, as if one’s eyes refuse to focus on her. She uses this ability to hide in places of torment and torture, working to find information that can be used to free those who have been wrongfully imprisoned. Once she has this, she ensures it makes it to the eyes and ears of those who can use it, keeping herself just as invisible, not wanting others to know where the intelligence came from.
Those more suited to thrilling heroics sometimes question why She of Ebon Wings and her mortal followers would spend their efforts gathering information rather than taking decisive action when faced with suffering. They see these spies as time wasters at best, and actively detrimental to others at worst. Her followers are judged as pilferers and poachers, always taking what doesn’t belong to them. But those who follow Kelinahat are far more cautious than outsiders would ever consider. They know that even with the information they can provide, due process must be observed, even if it comes to the wrong conclusions. Ignoring this would be to risk that lawful authorities might be forced to take a harsher view of those that they sought to help in the first place.
