demonkind. He appreciates the power of unholy fire to reduce even the most powerful enemies to mere dust. The Crawling Inferno has personally lead armies of his minions on invasions into demonic realms, knowing that, if slain, he can grow a new body from one of the many boiling lakes of bile within his cavernous realm.
Chavazvug cares little for any cultists devoted to him. Most worshippers of the Crawling Inferno are lone arsonists and pyromaniacs who simply enjoy seeing things burn and venerate Chavazvug in the hopes that one day, the qlippoth lord will grant them the ultimate reward of spontaneous combustion. Rarely, a group of demon hunters will dedicate themselves to Chavazvug to grow stronger in their never-ending fight. They often eventually go to extremes, torturing mortal demon worshippers with redhot pokers to learn more about a cult’s activities. When this eventually proves fatal, the devotees of Chavazvug sever the captive’s head and burn it on a pyre as an offering within a burned-out building or forest consumed by wildfires.
