Nyuo-Ogh (The Always Observing)Source Divine Mysteries pg. 320Nyuo-ogh appears as a floating lizard eye surrounded by a darkness from which small grasping claws appear to grab at anything in their reach. The Always Observing was recently born from one of Oaur-Ooung’s blisterwombs, making him the youngest qlippoth lord in existence. Nyuo-Ogh seeks to plunge mortalkind into literal and educational darkness, eradicating both science and magic. He believes this will radically shorten mortal life spans and capacity for sin, with the additional effect of erasing their understanding of the rituals used to contact demons. As part of this process, Nyuo-Ogh constantly watches the mortal planes, looking for ways to slow the advancement of knowledge.
Followers of Nyuo-ogh often become metaphorical windows for the qlippoth lord to peer out at mortalkind. The Always Observing might commandeer a devotee’s vision at any moment for a random amount of time. During this time, the worshipper still controls their own actions but is effectively blind. This partial possession is obvious as the cultist’s eyes shift to have diamond-shaped pupils surrounded by veins of blood. Despite this, certain people still worship Nyuo-Ogh because of the control it gives them over the dissemination of knowledge and magic. These individuals—often unethical teachers, trainers, and wizards—hope to rule over the ignorant, even if they are the ones who fostered this lack of education.
